The Buying process is easy
All you need to do is secure a fixed price contract by paying a deposit of US$5,000 to hold the unit. You can exit a contract during the construction stage or after physical completion. Payments will be refunded on the sale of the unit less legal fees (3-5% of sale price) and sale expenses. Please note that sale expenses such as Government fees; stamp duty (2%) and license fee required by Non-Nationals (EC$5,000) are non-refundable if a contract is terminated.
Step 1 - Select home-site then choose your concept home.
Step 2 - Make a deposit also called a Reservation Fee of US$5,000 to guarantee your purchase. This is held in Trust by RE/MAX Executive Realty or in Escrow as you may choose.
Step 3 - Your Lawyer will process the sale and acquisition of the land. Once complete you are now the owner of the land and title is transferred to you.
Step 4 - A 10% deposit based on the overall cost (inclusive of the $5,000 deposit) is now made.
Step 5 - Construction of your home begins and on completion of foundation - 30% payment is required.
Step 6 - On completion of the structure - 30% payment on balance
Step 7 - On completion of exterior - 20% payment on balance
